Today feels like course correction…

Having some skincare trouble and I just don’t know what to do. My face has never broken out this much and I don’t like the hyperpigmentation. I’m used to maybe one or two here and there, it’s been like 3-4 per week. Sigh just had to vent this somewhere lol. 🥲

Watching people “wake up” to state violence right now is… sobering. For Black Americans, this isn’t new. The system didn’t suddenly change; it stayed consistent. Slavery was reformed into Black Codes, Jim Crow, surveillance, mass incarceration, and modern policing.

Men, Have you been personally victimized by “red pill” propaganda? Has your government or societal norm pushed you into a direction to not trust your own intuition or feelings to where now you feel numb or unable to express them appropriately? You might be entitled to emotional compensation.

Why are apartment buildings not made with noise canceling flooring and walls?

This last mercury retrograde was for real… What I’m learning: •To trust my intuition more •Be myself regardless of perception •Understanding everyone really isn’t equipped to match my frequency •Confronting the mirrors I held up and the one that reflected back to me Just to name a few…

Saw #Zootopia2 and there were a lot of nuggets… • demonstrating avoidant/anxious behavior between “partners” • learning how to communicate effectively (possibly) • political views of those who have and those who have not and how things wind up “stolen” • gentrification (need I say more)

I heard this guy say that ruminating and intellectualizing the ‘why’ from a hurt can also keep you stuck in an unhealthy loop. It too doesn’t give your nervous system the space to feel safe.

The grief felt from relationships ending also needs a place to go. One way to get it to live outside your body is to journal the sensation you feel.

Would we want things to be how they were? Or would be want things to be evolved?

The storyline really played on how even small-town politicians didn’t have moral compass to close the beach until they were able to figure out how to solve the issue. They were a vacation town and the biggest day for them to generate revenue was coming up…and you know, that’s how it continues.

The make up artists and prosthetics were in their bag, the floating head in the water was very realistic…to the point I was like, “this was made in ‘75?!” They need to bring back that kind of craftsmanship 🫣🤌🏾

I get why it was the film that made them scramble to sensor it from young kids…because at that time they’ve never seen anything like that…since being a core millennial we have seen it all so those quick horror shots didn’t phase me to the point of queeziness.
