I finished Ghost of Yotei last night, and it was fun! Satisfying combat! I enjoyed exploring! But also like... part of my degree was Hokkaido history, so I could not stop being an enormous buzzkill about the whole thing.

The AI stuff from Larian is extremely disappointing. And them saying, essentially, "People are still making the actual game (writing/acting)! We're just using it for concept art!" is so unbelievably disrespectful to artists.

I graduated high school a couple years before 2008. It was impossible to find a job, and I couldn't afford school at the time despite really wanting to go. Anyway, I was *finally* able to get a degree after all these years, and I just graduated and returned to the US a couple days ago, and uh...

Went to a very special screening of Phantom of the Paradise with Paul Williams in attendance! What a delightful man. Managed to something extra special signed for @conleydraws.bsky.social, too!

I am so, so exhausted from finishing/turning in the sort of graduation thesis I had to do for my program... but also it was about yuri manga so I feel a little silly being SO stressed over comics of girls kissing.

One of my favorite and most meaningful moments in our Baldur's Gate 3 multiplayer game was something that was not a scripted story event, but instead something that happened due to game mechanics and our choice to play characters from a previous D&D campaign—making it very hard to explain, lol.
