I do wonder why whomever's responsible here still bothers to hide signs of historical foreign interference in Australian politics. AUKUS makes it very clear that if the UK or the US want something, Australia will give it to them. So why bother maintaining the illusion of Australian independence?

I wrote a webserial more or less along these lines. And spoilers - it doesn't work out. I am convinced that queer separatism just leads to an easy target for repressive forces. If we don't end authoritarian forms of governance world-wide first, we'll just end up right back where we are now.
