Sitting with this poem today by @genesisbe.bsky.social from her book People Not Things. These words... a sharp snap of the fingers in front of my face to say pay attention.

I pushed the door, but the wind won and closed me inside. I tried again. If the wind can throw its body into it, so can I. #poetry

In the morning, when the sun is at the right angle, my hallway adorns itself in rainbows. When I moved in, it was my sign that everything would be okay. Eleven years later, I'm still collecting the possibilities.
