I got the first ending in Silent Hill f and... Sufficed to say, I am kinda floored I guessed what the ending would be very early on. The clues were not exactly subtle. Clues? Clue. Whatever. xD

Been running through Silent HIll f over the last week, and it feels like a bit of a downgrade from 2's remake. Not sure if it just isn't optimized to mouse and keyboard, but combat (and there is a ton) just feels clunky and a bit unresponsive. Almost as if the combat system wasn't quite finished.

Not to go into another ramble today, but It strikes me as a bit unsettling how frequently people in various communities seem to anchor their self-esteem, and sometimes even the perceived value of their characters, to the level of sexual attention they receive.

Adding to my earlier thoughts, the moral grandstanding over fiction feels like there is this desire for nothing but straightforward stories: no villains, no negative traits, just universal goodness and happiness.

I always find it concerning when I see discourse suggesting that a roleplayer or writer portraying a character on the far end of the evil spectrum (or with evil traits) is somehow problematic simply because they enjoy writing it.

This man. It has been years. And I still want to sock him every time I see him.
