nmaahc.si.edu
? A lot of past exhibits are gone, and it seems exceedingly slow. Has anyone else experienced this?

Today, Ross Douthat compared the coming AI revolution to European presence in the Americas. About this, Douthat writes, “the Age of Discovery changed the world completely without changing the fundamentals of human existence.” You really have to be blind to a lot of human history to say this.

I am so very pleased to share the cover of my forthcoming book on the history of the Girl Scouts, forthcoming in October. I think UNC Press did such a beautiful job with the cover. Those are actually my badges from when I was a girl. Even the stitching is my own.
