My team at NSF NCAR has just unveiled our new AI global numerical weather prediction framework, CREDIT, and our new model, WXFormer. We have a 1-hour time step model that performs (mostly) stable forecasts out to 5 days. More advances and collaborations coming soon. arxiv.org/abs/2411.07814
