Roman and Lia’s road trip part 2: In classic horror story fashion, their car broke down and they went to find help. The family whose farm they stumbled upon ended up being cannibals or something… except, you know, lol. Roman’s gonna kill the cops and steal their car.

The employee who does everything for their employer (Alfred and Batman), the guardian who goes to any length to protect their ward (Joel and Ellie), the love interest who burns down cities for the one person they care for (I write these).

I only focus on one set of main characters at a time, usually for my primary WIP. This month, I answered for Lia and Roman because I was drafting their novella; next month, I'll switch back to Daemrin and Lex.

CRUCIBLE OF THE BROKEN MOON: This dang love story is so incredible. Everyone deserves this kind of love. THE HEART IS A WEAPON: I love how I wove together and layered all the themes. It will require lots of revisions to make sure they land right, but I'm pretty proud of myself already.

After focusing on THE HEART IS A WEAPON for the past three weeks, I revisited CRUCIBLE OF THE BROKEN MOON this morning and reread the last couple of chapters I'd written before pausing it. Immediately, I remembered how much I love this story and the characters.
