Octopuses are often said to have "nine brains" one central brain plus a nerve cluster in each arm. Buuut it's not that simple. Newer research shows the arms and central brain talk to each other more than we thought. It's less "nine minds," more "one brain, eight incredibly clever arms." 🧵

I am a part time plumber (in fixing all the pipes in our house unless it's beyond my skill set) and I've never seen a sink like this, or the tools they are using (and my plumbers wrench is the best $35 I've ever spent on a tool).

I've said for years that artists should have their own websites to avoid the vagaries of social media & other platforms. I guess AI is even taking that away from us. Fuck all of this.
