Lil practice of the week, lovin my new brush, practicing shading more and getting used to playing with tools to see how they feel... Getting much more comfortable with everything!

My paint of the week. Wanted to try out a new brush and feel out some texturing techniques too... Actually much more pleased with how this came out over a lot of other things! Getting better with layers and even made an alt version to sharpen up on masking skills and such.

Also got a few practice sketches I did this weekend. Getting proud of of capturing form and weight :)

Little paint practice of the week. Was not in a very painty mood but had to do somethin. Really need to start working on backgrounds some time soon but will probably do 2-3 more flat things like this till then since I got linework done but thinking of changing brushes again...

Filled up another sketchbook! First and last page to check my progress. Got much better at eyeing proportions and measuring things out and feel like my silhouettes are much better. Improvements are saying more with less lines as well but still need to work out filling in details...

Bit of experimenting with brushes for coloring and texturing this weekend. Recently been considering changing my linework brushes too. There's a sort of style I can feel myself gravitating towards and I gotta figure out how to tweak brushes to get a certain feeling out of it...

My pretty bad sona rendition as my paint practice... Kinda mashed together on purpose I want my self-prescribed weekly art done and I want to spend the rest of my long weekend once again trying out brushes and experiment with linework...

Another little color of the week. Feel like I'm getting a nice workflow for flat coloring and will probably do 3-5 more of these then start gettin better with backgrounds and values.

Piece of the week, want to start practicing making a consistent character and this guy is gonna be it. Likely will get tweaks along the way and maybe a name...

Quick weekend paint of me if I were a cool ass sheep in a sweater because I miss cool air... Going on vacation this week but still wanna hit me mark. Will do this again next week cause I come home on saturday and I'll probably be exhausted from travel but we gotta stay grinding

Busy weekend so pushed something out to hit my weekly painting goal. Probably same for the next 2 weekends too since I have a little trip coming. Quick colored sketch of me and me coy partner. Testing how to express how fluffy we are in our own unique ways :)

Busier than I thought I'd be this weekend so flat color bison fur art is my output. Little less ref heavy piece and it came out pretty good! Need to expand my mental library of hands and legs is next steps I'm feeling. That and expressing fur better in color.

Little WIP for something with my partner! Lots more to tweak but planning on making this the foundation for something bigger and getting something else smaller out for this weekend.

Filled out my 2nd sketchbook horay! Reflection of the moment is I got much faster drawing but I need to reel it back in and focus on details more. Structurally I'm doing much better and I feel like I can express more with less lines but I gotta refine what those lines are sayin I think...

Paint practice of the week, lil gazelle lady. Shading not too good but I wanted to try getting texture and shape expressed better. Rendering feels all over the place because of that but it is what it is lol

My paint practice of the week. Definitely getting more refined every try! Lowkey working on art is keeping me sane... This week was so ass personally, for the US, and to a greater extent the world and it feels grounding to put focus into creating something just for the sake of it.

Lil bit of digital paint practice with shading and blending for texture. Every part feels a little different but there's a little something I like about each. Definitely did better on the legs than the head and probably heading more in that direction in the future.

Last rushed sketch of my workweek! Just the weekend left! Honestly makes me feel a little awkward throwing this into the void for basically no one but on a personal level something about this makes me feel like I'm "doing more". Maybe will make this streak go on longer than the 7 days I planned.

Soft ram fursona debut with all my brush testing. Last image with line+color combo on the left will probably be foundational to what will become my style. Next steps is digitally sketching more throughout the week to build a sense of presence and maybe see if I'm worthy of commissions...

Intended to just practice linework and color later but I found a brush that's like a real paintbrush and it kinda blew my mind... I'm probably late to the party for that but feeling like I'm painting physically makes it feel so much easier to color and hide how BAD my linework is.

Busy weekend but have to hit my personal weekly quota. Testing out brushes in my software move and flat color ram practice. Wanted to see what I could do in an hour, went a little over due to some distractions but that's how it be...

Quick little sketch and paint of me and a bud. More for transition from Affinity Photo to Krita than paint practice but wanted something done for the week as well. Real nice program too, I wish I started with it lol! Oh well, will try to lock in and really focus on practice over the next few weeks.

Midweek account activity!! Some sketches, practicing fully imagined design on the left and some ref elephant practice sketches on the right for something a friend asked for. Been drawing for over a year now, at the point where I feel less like I'm studying and more like I'm having fun drawing :)

My art practice for the week, mostly focused on expressing fluff a little better by coloring an old sketch. Rushed piece though, First day of pride and release weekend of Nightreign so I had some very gay distractions all day...

Just a small compilation of heads I've been practicing. Testing other brushes and made a little custom one I think I'll be using for a bit. Flat color practice that came out pretty nice. Also think I'll try to be more active through the week will little sketches and such due to rising confidence!

A quick little something, working on workflow and rendering. Spent about 2 hours total on this which is pretty fast for me now! Tacky but bad for all the right reasons so I'm pleased :)

Paint of the weekend. Speed is improving majorly and that makes me very happy :) Just a sheep woman sitting, friends have made alpaca allegations so I need to study more heads and refine my style. Nothing worse than art being misunderstood...

Another weekend practicing my digital paints. Was supposed to be something short and simple but ended up spending way more time on it than intended, for the best though since I do like how it turned out. I cringe less at every new piece I put together :3

Jutting out a quick 30 min paint. Just wanting to keep pace practicing every weekend. Bigger things in the background and the little warmups on the side keeps me sharp enough to refine...

Quick little blonde anthro ram painting. Busy weekend but needed to get some kind of practice in. Experimented a little more with lines and settings, still need to set aside time to figure out definitively how I'd like my outline brush to be but all progress is progress.

Been practicing anatomy and proportions more lately and started setting up proper digital brushes for myself. Also my first image where I feel my digital draw-over is better than the physical sketch! Self-portrait of the beast inside of me for this week. May be making refs for other soon!

Tragedy... Wanted to try a piece where sketch lines were more guidelines for a "painty" image but I am not built for that on a tablet. Don't hate it, but even did proper linework on the left to see if I'd prefer it and I did. Unfinished due to my displeasure but workin my style out is value enough.

One of my bigger practices. Got back into Hunt Showdown recently and the aesthetics of it is so damn good. Nowhere near done but need to keep my pace of uploading something every week just to keep my diligence.

Little bitty paint. Felt lazy but still had to get something done. First thing where I put a real level on effort on the background... It's kinda mid but it's the worst I'll ever be, only uphill from here!!!!!

Lazy as hell on a birthday weekend so pumped something out. Just a sheep man staring you down. Makes me smile a little bit cause it feels like something you'd see in a late 2000s newground flash.

Furry ass lil paint of an old sketch I'm puttin a pin in. Makin progress in quality for sure but my ass wants to tweak too many things constantly so I'm callin it here. Likely something I will want to revisit and finish proper in the future cause I'm too displeased with too much of it right now...

Lazy weekend so some lazy paints. Feeling out more brushes and blending, picked a few old fox sketches to colorize. Gettin a stronger feel for what I want out of myself but need to refine how to really get it out.
