Nerd time- I don't know if people know... The Raiders title is based on a boat. The orange represents copper painted hulls. The green is from the copper oxidizing from elemental exposure. Copper paint is used to prevent growth on hulls - called fouling. But, copper is toxic to most organisms, sadly.

Honestly so glad Raiders is a chill Splatoon game. After all the Splatoon news you can ever come across, we need it to help bring back the original fun in the series. Especially for Salmon Run and/or casual players. They tried w/ Tableturf. But, I'm the only one out of others ik that plays sadly.

If you are commissioning an artist, and want a specific pose, don't run to genAI to try and make it for you. Draw a stick person. Stick person poses are beloved among all artists. We can see exactly what you want. Do not fear sending the stick person. The stick person is magical.

I am a sea creatures nerd. These salmonids looks like they're based off of Chinook Salmon (in my opinion)
