The real luxuries in life.

Thinking about these mystery drones has added an interesting dimension to a story idea in development.

During the Christmas season, the temptation to wear seasonal colors reminds me of my sole superpower: My face's ability to transmute any shade of red lipstick to the same dismal shade of orange. Quite possibly the worst superpower ever.

Looking forward to hearing this. DARK JOURNEY was written over twenty years ago, so this conversation with Skooma Joe was definitely a walk down memory lane.

BEST THING I SAW THIS WEEK: A small Yule tree on the back of a Jeep, festooned with tiny green lights. When the Jeep braked, the green lights were joined by red lights. Creative AND safety minded.

Observation of the day: I don't see how it's possible that NOT ONE PERSON on the Honda Pilot design team didn't say, "You know, this kinda looks like a hearse for short people."

And so the experiment begins. After work this evening, I'll start following people to begin the community-building process.
