Oh lads, I'm boiling. And my head is killing me and my eye is swelling shut again. I was supposed to collect antibiotics on Tuesday morning, but I had to drive like a bat out of hell to hospital in Dublin. And I haven't collected them yet. I thought I was better, but obviously not.

Salty is such a sweetheart. The vet was checking her earlier and expecting her to growl or snap from pain when she was checking her bladder. Salty just looked at me with that Golden Retriever smile. Then she turned her head and looked at the vet. "Oh, there it is. Pain". Antibiotics are kicking in.

Salty is full of antibiotics and asleep upstairs. Bailey is ignoring all of us and asleep on the sofa. Seve is basically glued to me and snoring his head off. Meanwhile, I'm simultaneously wide awake and dead on my feet.

Still pouring rain, but the wind seems to have calmed down 🤞🏻

Any minute now I'm going to lose WiFi and electricity.

I had my 6 monthly bloods taken yesterday morning. You know how they tape a little cotton ball to you after? Well my skin decided the tape was unacceptable and now I look like I've a chemical burn on that inside bit of my elbow.

Drove to Dublin with the hazards on, seriously breaking the speed limit,to get favourite human to hospital. Couldn't wait an hour for an ambulance. Everyone moved out of the way except for couriers. I hope they rot. I'm actually having a panic attack.

The whole house is unwell here (me and favourite human) but there's still doggies to be looked after and things to do. We've agreed we're going to take turns being banjaxed from now on. It's all too much for one of us to handle alone.

It's a logistical nightmare doing the nightly wee wees with the dogs here. No matter who I bring out first, the other 2 lose the plot. Then they're all worked up and don't want to go to bed.

Everything is shit so I'm going to watch a Christmas film. Still hate Christmas though.

Had my flu and Covid jabs today. Flu in my right arm, didn't feel a thing, arm is fine. Covid in my left arm, felt like being injected with battery acid, arm is killing me. And I'm EXHAUSTED.
