Man 25 years went fast

Opening night for the ONSL so I’m catching a game— Roanoke Rapids Static at Outer Banks Swinging Mullets.

In addition to reading 8-10 poetry manuscripts each morning, I am currently inhaling old spy novels at a rate of about one per day. I don't consider myself a fast reader but it's all I want to do in early summer.

Can’t wait for the day when AI also makes spelling mistakes because we’ve trained it to do so. This really is the dumbest timeline.

My Advanced Poetry students handed in chapbooks today, and friends, I could not be more proud. This is just a sampling.

you guys, I just did the thing: revised a poem for an hour, made change after change after change, tried this, tried that, then at the end of the hour, had changed one pair of commas to em-dashes and that was the only change that stuck
