He is definitely unusual. But he's been through a lot. And if I don't have the patience, who will? I just hope I'm able to help him through the things that still haunt him after all these years. I hope that it's not too late to help him.

Nina, my friend. You don't know the half of it. One time I got shot, and Kaz hunted down the guy who shot me, and plucked out his eyeball for it. The man is literally the human version of a crow. Not that I'm complaining.

Between you and me, I think it's a rather attractive when he gets a little jealous. Nevertheless, I just hope he knows that even if I go on my own journey for a little while I'll always come back to him.

At one point when we were docked, everyone went their separate ways for the evening. But we ended up running into each other in a little pub not far from the ship. And I think he hinted at buying me drinks or taking me to dinner. But I kept talking about The Crow Club and you. So he stopped.

Not really. But I sort of noticed him looking at me from time to time when he thought I wasn't paying attention. But as you know I notice everything around me.
