Amongst other issues, my dad's haemoglobin levels have been tanking and he's needed weekly transfusions. Despite excellent care, no one could figure out *where his blood was going*, until 2 weeks ago, when one of his doctors followed a hunch and found the "leak". No transfusions since.

I did not read a lot this year, and I don't love that, but I did write three books and get two of them through copy edits, sell a book at auction, launch two books in two months, played a whole new videogame, cross stitched a lot, watched new TV for the first time in a while, and loved Veilguard.

Today on Kate Plays Clair Obscur, the world's worst jumper (me) does all the jumping challenges they (I) have been putting off. So far it's going great. *sighs*

Shoveled the driveway on this, our third straight day of "please stay off the roads; we literally cannot come save you" snow. A did it about 20 hours ago, so it's not too bad. Three days of snow after three days of rain/ice still bites. At least we're finally out of the streamer for a bit.

One time I got into Manchester PIC at like 11:30pm and realized my connecting train departed from Manchester *VIC*, so I found someone in a uniform to ask directions. The porter was like "yeah, I hate these, you'll never make it" and drove me to the other station. I made the train and got home.

Had to get methodical wrt Clair Obscur locations (np: the ten location names written on the other side of the character). I won't have done everything, but I will have been everywhere.

The Tiny Hulk spent 6 months mowing the lawn, shoveling snow, saving his allowance, and looking in on neighbourhood pets to get the Death Star for Christmas. I'm so proud of him.
