Roots in the tropical Amazon changed their way to acquire more phosphorus under elevated CO2! That is as incredible as it sounds, and it means a whole lot for the future

How much carbon will intact tropical forests sequester in the future due to CO2 fertilization? Will phosphorus ultimately constrain the carbon sink in highly weathered soil? We still don’t have a satisfying answer to this. #AmazonFACE #TropicalForest
