Today I drank a Ghost and 2 Diet Pepsis. I have earned this giant cup of ice water. In exactly 7 minutes I get to bust out the wet food for the kitties. And then I'm going to change into shorts because the outside temperature dropped and we're operating on emergency (gas) heat and I'm burning up.

One voicemail this morning from a customer and it was a butt-dial. I should have saved it. I felt like I was out of my element all day today. No need to teach me warranty billing, because we don't do warranty work-- except in this one particular case today.

Work starts at 8. It is quarter past 9. My only regret is that I will eventually have to go to work. (went to bed late, slept late; I will try to get my shit together tonight)

Opening fish fry of the Lenten season. They have new stuff on the menu and Hubs said he'd bring back a variety. I didn't eat all day because I couldn't figure out what food was and I'm having heartburn. Looking forward to some good food.

Eldest also bought me some Monster. I'm a Ghost girl, but the Punk Punch Monster is pretty nice. Like one of the varieties Mtn Dew markets during the summer. Little pop of mango. I hate mango-heavy flavors, but this was enjoyable.

Took Eldest to the dentist, then to the bank. At the bank, Boss calls. Secretary is trying to run a credit card but the virtual terminal wants her to change the password and can I go in and do that? SHIT Dropped Eldest off and went to the office. Got it done in 3 tries!

Put Galadriel out of the room for knocking everything off my desk. 2 minutes later I ran to get her and scoop her up and apologize profusely to my baaaaby. She learned nothing.

I know "sweating like a pig" is just a turn of phrase and not literal, but you guys. Pigs don't DO that. They just don't. (I had several books of animal facts and a full set of encyclopedias when I was 8)

I finally got to see a good cat fight The quiet kind with bapping, not the other kind with teeth and claws and murder Puma and Galadriel were fighting over who got to sit closest to Dad while he was eating. I kept expecting it to devolve into bloodsport, but Puma won by dooting G off the desk.

Went back to work and it was okay. The customer who said he'd call Monday to pay still hasn't and Boss is gonna have to refuse them further service until we see at least 5k.

Feeling better. Ate approximately half of the leftovers, which is honestly my favorite part of the fajita playa. Chop up the fish, mix it with rice and beans and guac and pico, microwave it for 2 minutes, eat it with a spoon. I had so many vegetables left over; I usually eat those first.

FINALLY made pizza casserole because Youngest was out of tofu scramble. She says it's good, and further proof is the fact she ate an entire quarter of the pan. (I would never judge her for that; we are some food-lovin' people)
