$12 and a custom web server to fix two lines of CSS. that's the Fable 5 debugging story everyone's dunking on. no, the model isn't stupid, it just has no sense of scale, which is a very different problem. hopefully it should be back soon too ๐

Claude Fable went to absurd lengths to fix a trivial CSS bug. The gap isn't intelligence, it's proportion, and that relentlessness is mostly a feature. What actually matters now is who gets to decide which model answers you, and whether anyone tells you when they do.

Every Slidev power user ends up writing a custom picker script for their talks repo.
@antfu.me
has one. I had one. So I packaged it properly. slidev-decks: TUI deck picker, fuzzy matching, scaffold wizard, build --all, pm detection, slidev CLI pass-through.

Thereโs a new type of CSS scroll-state query coming: โscrolledโ. This one remembers the last direction you scrolled into, which you can use to build โhidey barsโ: when scrolling down (or having scrolled down), the hidey bar hides itself. When then scrolling back up, the hidey bar reveals itself.

So it takes around 20 years for you to actually move the needle... Hope Porto gets there some day ๐ค
