I've been going through some things these past few days, with the new company and trying to make steady progress on a beefy epic fantasy novel + a brand new game design. But I got an encouraging text from a fellow author who said "I'm convinced you're failure-proof. onward, hero." Here I go.

I seriously never want to write on anything else. I’m so addicted to writing novels now—I keep scrambling to finish other things so I can touch these keys some more. Expect my next big fat fantasy book very soon (assuming my editor can keep up with me).

At my signing at Barnes & Noble in Carmel today, this lovely woman came up to ask about my books and she said she was a drummer and loved Phil Collins and Tommy Lee (two drummers that got me into drumming) and guess what her name was? Rylie—same exact spelling as my daughter hahah. Nuts.
