After taking (too) many pictures of scales we finally have our new study out: Identifying escaped farmed salmon from scales using deep learning:

The model works well and covers the major Atlantic salmon rivers in Norway. Could be adpated to other fish and places!

Our bioavailable strontium baseline for Corsica is out! ⁸⁷Sr/⁸⁶Sr ranges from 0.7075 to 0.7169 and was established from 245 plant & soil leachate samples from 125 sites. Check out the article here

New article on land use efficiency of renewable energy in Norway. Production density (GWh/km2) was highest for small hydropower and low for land-based wind. Storage hydropower needed to balance wind power at 0.2/1.0 TWh. Led by M.S. Kenawi with collaborators at NTNU and NINA.
