So, #BonAppetitYourMajesty. Sure, the plot was poorly written nonsense. Yes, the characters that weren't one dimensional were internally inconsistent. And the romance was unconvincing. But it was entertaining (if often by accident) and the cooking was fun so somehow I don't regret watching it.

I'm looking forward to this so much. I really like the movie it's "based on," though I'm at a loss understanding the connection considering the movie was about a magician's assistant, while PEB's character here is a chaebol. But I would watch Park Eun Bin read the dictionary so I'm not fussed.

This comment reminded me of how producers supposedly chose the advice of AI over their writer and changed the ending of #TheDemonHuntersRomance to be "realistic" instead of happy. As if we are looking for realism from a show with DEMONS. This is why I check the endings before putting in the hours.

I've started watching #TheRationalLife because it's leaving Netflix in a week and I'm wondering if I can skip the best friend's "should I have a kid even though I don't want to?" storyline without affecting my experience of Shen Rouxin's story. It's so tedious.

My attention span is nil right now thanks to life circumstances so I've returned to my comfort zone of horizontal mini #cdramas. I do so enjoy them - cheap and cheerful (if bloody revenge and intrigue cheers you up like it does me).

I have no idea what's happening here and yet I love it. I wasn't rushing out to watch this one but this is strangely appealing.

The fact that this had to be "pointed out" is one of the reasons the internet makes me sad. The fact that the internet is why I know who IU is, and have enjoyed her dramas and music, is why I will not give it up. Conundrums.

Very pleased that I finally watched the kdrama #SellYourHauntedHouse! That was an enjoyable, lightly scary mystery/comedy. I'm a sucker for the Korean horror-comedy genre, and this was a particularly good one. Also, for a gen show many ships were going full steam ahead. Did no one tell the actors?

Oh hurrah! Knowing what is in my calendar for late June, I will be in need of explosions, chaos, and over the top violence in July.

The number of times I've exclaimed "Bless!" at the screen while watching #WONDERfools is climbing towards triple digits (on 6 of 8). This show is quite amusing and full of ridiculous situations. It does like to zig when a more normal show would zag, and that's fun.

This will be silly, right? Please let this cast be silly... it will be epic!

So far (7/12) #PerfectCrown is fun in how it is traipsing through the tropes as though there was a checklist. It's like watching something from 2016 but with modern hairstyles. I appreciated the show hitting the traditional trifecta of 2010s PPL: fast cars, ridiculous shoes, and subway.

I zipped through #YumisCells 3 this weekend because I like the lead actors and... enh. I didn't watch the first two series because I felt I would not like the cells. Turns out I was right about that. Oh well. I enjoyed the humans even though their story was paper-thin and kinda rushed at the ending.

Having finished #ToMyBelovedThief, I feel confident in saying that Im Sa Yeong is a leading contender for my Worse Drama Dad of the year award. The utter loathing I felt for this character was somehow amplified by the fact that Choi Wong Young has played such lovely dads in other #kdramas.

I'm 13 episodes into #ToMyBelovedThief and once again #HongMinKi is stealing a #kdrama out from under the leads. He's so compelling on screen, and his performance is wonderfully detailed. He needs to be in everything.

Yes to all of this, even though I've only gotten around to watching about half of these so far. The chemistry in #Revenant was electric. I actually remember it more than the plot, and the plot was pretty good.
