If anyone wonders why my research productivity is down, it’s bc I’m suddenly parenting two disabled kids and one trans kid while also trying to support a family member with severe mental illness in a capitalist hellscape where all their (already difficult to navigate & access) care is endangered.

A year and a half ago, we moved this kid across the country for her safety and so she could finish high school in peace. She’s blossoming and happy. Don’t let them steal her joy. #protecttranskids

Checking all the pill bottles this morning to make sure anything that can be refilled is max refilled for 90 days. #protecttransyouth

I anticipated he wld try to cut Medicaid for trans youth. I’ve been bracing myself & the kiddo for that. We have a plan for that. But if he tries to end her medical care entirely AGAIN as they did in Texas—a state we fled to keep her safe…idk. I’m going to be out here breaking the law, folks 🤷🏻‍♂️
