Having 3 frames to get the digging to look okay was a challenge. This was also the moment I found out I hate the Pico-8 pallet. Still do. But go play this game! It still delights me.

When figuring out how to build the city I studied the map from GTA on the Game Boy Color. It is a work of art. I tired to bring what I learned from it into this city map with mixed results. The the true achievements of this game are the technical wizardry and mini stories the passengers have.

We have been working on a game for a bit now. We started in RPG Maker 2003. We decided to move to MV. I then found out I could make the sprites bigger. So the characters that started as 24x32 had to be reworked as 48x48 and I’m now redoing them in 96x96. #pixelart
