I don’t have a picture of the final product, or I think even a picture of everyone that evening, but this is the last birthday meal my dad ever cooked for me. It was August of 2020. His grilling skills were unmatched. Not a lot I wouldn’t give to have him make me one more meal.

I have been awake since 3 am and apparently my tired brain is hyperfocusing on Gonzo stats. For those wondering, there are 1243 empty cells that could be filled with crimbs from January 1st through August 21st. He has only done ~11% of the crimbs my spreadsheet is able to account for.

Since I’m wide awake at 3:54 am, have an inside look at the spreadsheet where the magic happens! Everything is auto-populated with formulas except the cycles of the moon which I enter manually. All of the columns feed into charts or data on other tabs, which also have lots of columns and formulas.

Ha, it’s not exciting. The main data input tab is Sheet1 and the main calculations tab is Sheet12. Everything else is named for the particular data within (Daily Stats, Deductions by Month, Lunar Phases, etc).

I did some digging on this one and @gonzo.bsky.social has only had unawthorized noodity once this year - May 16th, halfway between a full moon and a third quarter. (He got a 90% that day - there was also a Hellocobber shelve trespace.)

Weird, the guy who “had to go to his granddaughter’s funeral this week” and who “went to go get the receipt” for his $167 of bug-infested dog food at 7:15 never came back to finish the return.

Made myself a timeline for closing the service desk tonight but unlike the LAX MAC manager, I won’t be sharing it publicly on the internet.
