Mississippi Police Kill One-Year-Old Kohen Wiley - PopularResistance.Org On Sunday 14 June, a Mississippi police officer shot and killed Kohen Kartier Wiley, a 1-year-old Black child, whilst responding from a shoplifting call at a Walmart in Senatobia. Since Tuesday evening, protesters have gathered outside both the store and Senatobia’s city hall, facing down police using tear gas to suppress them. Kohen’s mother, Vellesiya Wiley, reportedly left the store with her baby and a friend. All three got into a car together to drive away.
