Got home from work and decided to fix an import/export bug on Stituation Critical. OXS files were not saving or loading empty stitches, and defaulted them to white stitches.

Bleh, 2:17 am and I am sat here awake with a headache.

I literally followed a technical drawing, but the screw holes are misaligned, the fan is offset and the iec cutout is supposed to be centred on the connector. 😫

There was a point to my project box yesterday, it is for a multi rail PSU for my chilli grow lights. Glad I made it parametric though, as I can just alter the size for different projects. Might also add some feet to the end caps.

I wanted to sleep in a bit today, but here I am at 8:00 am. Didn’t go to sleep until 1:00 am which is really late for me. My brain is switched on already though.

Took the day off as holiday as I was feeling a bit wobbly this morning. To relax I tried a bit of French polishing and designed a project enclosure.

I bought the cheapest dupe DMC threads from Amazon, to see how they match up. I'm going to compare them for thread quality, coverage, colour matching and fastness. How do you think they'll compare?

Well, today has been non stop which is kind of nice. This time last year I was in a deep pit of despair whilst coming to terms with my own mortality, and an illness that stuck around for nearly 12 months. I am making the most of having energy again. Time to stop and stitch now. #CrossStitch

Making a rechargeable glow stick, just trying different amounts of current. 100mA, so should last a good few hours. Will test the little boost converter that takes it to 5V next, then will have an expected time when fully charged. I reckon about 10 hours.

Well, I guess switching off my entire work bench rather than my soldering iron means I get to test how good the printer can recover from a power cut…

I was really worried about the Artemis II launch, I thought they were using the Boeing Starliner. That Starliner is a bag of old nails and should not be certified for manned flight. Relieved that it is the Orion capsule, hope it all goes well.
