I live in the Carolinas, so my pups are pretty stymied when there is cold white stuff in their outside water bowl. They danced around it briefly but in the end did not even experiment.

I am having one of those feral sensory days where everything is itchy and prickly and smells weird and sounds grating, even stuff I usually love. Here's a dotty skull though.

The first sunrise of the year was gorgeous in a strong and calming way. The second sunrise of the year is a reminder to embrace your vibrant and passionate energy as well.

This plush that an internet ad thinks I will want to buy is so bothersome. With the mismatched red and green spots on its limbs, how will any other snowman know which direction this one is going in? The manufacturers have no respect for maritime law.

Things i do not feel: good Things I cannot do: sleep So I'm just laying in bed staring at my jellyfish fan. With the fan turned on the breeze makes the tentacles move and it kinda looks like the jelly is swimming. So, I've got that going for me.

Dogouflage

Sometimes it is very hard for me to acknowledge and accept that my best can look wildly different day to day. Here is a nice picture of the sunset through my door.

Chronic illness feels like an artificial breakwater. There's so much energy just beyond it, but it's blocked with a bunch of perfectly interlocking rocks that nature never intended. You can see it and yearn for it but where you are is just flat. It's nice for a little visit, but not to live there.

I feel like I am made up of an endless series of excuses and whatever they are supporting is about to tumble into the abyss

Sometimes I struggle cause I think I might totally lack empathy, but then I remember my processing and understanding is just not main stream and I can appreciate moments without showing it in the same way others do. This sunrise picture has nothing to do with that but it is pretty.
