It was an honor and a privilege to study under, and work with, Bas at San Francisco State. In particular, his advanced logic course brings back so many wonderful and impactful memories. I can't think of a more deserving philosopher for such a prize!

—If anyone can produce a competent empirical paper on any topic, the bottleneck moves to identifying which questions are important to ask ... the question for reviewers and editors is less “is this right?” and more “why does this matter? I think this move was needed even before AI.
