Homily for Divine Mercy Sunday in Memory of Pope Francis

"The last shall be first, and the first, last" (Matthew 20:16). Such is the revolutionary society envisioned by Jesus: the poor are elevated & the rich are humbled. This great reversal is not just for heaven. "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven."

"Drill, baby, drill" is one of the most dangerous, if not the most dangerous, of Trump's positions. Yet Democrats' criticism of Trump often ignores this point since Democrats under Obama & Biden also failed miserably at taking the radical steps needed to address climate change.
