Today I put up some new blinds (which hurt) to try and stop my bedroom from getting so cold. This involved drilling and stuff. And afterwards I realised I have finally become the ultimate trans stereotype, doing DIY in pink overalls with a rainbow headband 😂 (Excuse the messy kitchen)

Went to see @assignedmale.bsky.social today for a talk. It was super intimate as only like 6 people could come but was so nice to have more of a chat. And then a few of us ended up at wetherspoons eating fish and chips because she wanted some British food 😂 Absolutely surreal times

My first tree in a long long time to mark my first Christmas in a place of my own for a long time. I'm not a particularly xmassy person but I decided to make an effort. Ignore the slightly squashed looking snow person, this was a lot of effort and I'll try and fix it

First trip out using the wheelchair blanket thing that an amazing follower got me from my wishlist. It's easy to put on and makes such a huge difference. When you're on a power chair you don't generate any body heat at all, and even when it's not winter it can be easy to get very cold very quickly.

Self care is a post shower hot chocolate in my pride love heart mug. Also the fact that I can use the kitchen while wrapped in a towel is the only reason I'm able to do this now, so another win for living alone
