For Christians Easter is far more important than Christmas, I've always preferred it for a variety of reasons, here's a few... the weather is better, most pubs/ restaurants remain open, it's more relaxing, lamb roast beats turkey

Just had the unfortunate experience of walking thru NQ on a Friday, it's gone in from one of best places in town to hang out into a nightmare.. 🥲... just got worse & worse over last ten years .. fab tho for Mcr in general

Went to a brewtap on the outskirts of Altrincham yesterday.. I'd hazard a guess that there was as many kids in it as adults... non sat down with whoever brought them, I feel like this has just crept in over last 5 years... 😬... mini rant over

8 years ago David Byrne played Mcr Apollo & it was one of the best shows I've ever seen, more than a gig, was it art or theatre, pure perfection, about 20 performers on stage, all taking turns to shine... tonight we are lucky enough to go again ❤️

In the early 80s the pub that I worked in used to have a private party on Xmas day night for staff & regulars ( of which there was many) free bar & us staff were served by the regulars .. carnage but amazing memories, 🍺🍺

Not only was last night's Richard Hawley show pure perfection from the man & his band, the audience were totally respectful too, a 2 hour plus show with everyone giving it their full attention, no chatting, no nipping to bar every ten mins ... an incredible night
