I like to get myself fancy coffee drinks as treats on roadtrips but because that’s the only time I drink them, I’m really bad at ordering. I get so overwhelmed when it’s not my usual regular drip coffee with a little 2% milk and end up with these gross creations.

My sister stopped by our house to check on the cats while we’re gone and discovered the entire ceiling in our guest bedroom/my office had collapsed. So, as you might guess, our vacation is going spectacularly.

I have rediscovered Grape Nuts for breakfast. They have vitamins and minerals, fiber, and a bit of protein and they keep me full all morning. I like them hot with berries mixed in, a splat of Greek yogurt, and maple syrup on top. Everything old is new again.

I don’t know what is in the air besides warm weather and pollen, but I have been hearing emergency sirens constantly this weekend. Apparently there was a melee at the pentagon city mall. Who knows what else is going on but people are wilding this weekend.
