After a week of rain, the spillways are open in CFL & the water level is up in the creeks leading to the Indian River. Saw two manatees enjoying grass they could now reach along the banks. They were big; may have been pregnant females. We've seen manatees birthing calves in this creek before.

Heartbreaking. Both plane and firetruck were cleared by Air Traffic Control (ATC) for their movements. Now 2 pilots dead and 2 fire fighters with serious injuries. ATC is such a stressful job that kinda goes unnoticed by travelers.
