No game is feeling fun after Clair Obscur. 😭💝

My favorite part of new game+ so far is taking a bunch of screenshots during the cutscenes now that I am not completely mesmerized by watching them. Trying to get reference shots that I can use for drawing practice. Je t’aimerai toujours, #clairobscur. ✨

Finished Clair Obscur so naturally it’s time to start New Game+ because I am not ready to be done with this outrageously special & amazing game. We Continue. 💗✨

It’s a grey, rainy morning which means it’s the perfect time for me to run headlong into getting my heart broken by the end of #clairobcur . I can’t wait to start new game+ and die a little inside all over again. Pure masterwork, this game. ✨💝

The only thing I can think of that would make Clair Obscur even better is if it had a photo mode. ✨💕

Did I just email both Lorien Testard and Alice Duport-Percier to tell them how astonishingly gorgeous the Clair Obscur soundtrack is? Yes I did. His composition is masterful, and her voice is just plain exquisite. Artists with such skill and talent deserve recognition from everyday people too. 💗✨

I don’t know if anyone playing Expedition 33 is good at the parkour course, but it sure as hell isn’t me. 🤣

It’s fascinating to consider the unlikeliness of one’s own existence sometimes. As my son and I passed a light airport on the way to the park just now, it occurred to me that the only reason I exist is because my mom decided she wanted to take flying lessons, and my dad was her instructor. 😅

To any fellow #Tolkien fans out there, you absolutely should go borrow or buy the audiobooks of The Hobbit and LoTR that Andy Serkis narrated. It’s like listening to a masterclass. It is now my favorite version.

I know it’s likely coincidental that the lines are the same in both games, but I feel super warm fuzzies hearing Brandon Keener’s voice as Garrus/Kai say “I’ll be here if you need me” in #MassEffect and #Avowed. 💗

I finished my first playthrough of Avowed last week, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and immediately got into a Now-What-Do-I-Play funk. So naturally I made a new char, jacked it up to Path of the Damned difficulty and am attempting to stomach an evil run so I can get all the achievements. Meet Karen. 🤣

I know a bunch of you are probably just Monster Hunting right now, but I definitely recommend Eternal Strands and Avowed to my fellow RPG lovers out there. I think I’m about 80% through Avowed and it’s definitely scratched that Skyrim itch that comes along sometimes. ✨

Just discovered Eternal Strands on GamePass, it just dropped at the end of Jan. Action RPG directed by Mike Laidlaw, who was the creative director for the first 3 Dragon Age games. Just mentioning it, for my fellow BioWare fans out there. ✨

Took me a month to play through the Mass Effect Legendary Edition on Insanity as an Infiltrator and get all 127 achievements. @arkhangel79.bsky.social says I’m insane. 🏆💗

I am so predictable. I am currently juggling 3 games: my (on Steam) Mass Effect 3 insanity run, my 4th Veilguard playthrough, and my who-can-remember-after-15-yrs run of Dragon Age Origins. 🤣 What can I say, these games are pure comfort for me. Happy Sunday all. Be good to each other. 💝

I’m not sure I made the right choice when I decided to listen to the interwebs telling me to play Mass Effect 3 as an infiltrator for my Insanity run. I just got the Black Widow sniper, which helps, but man I miss my tech armor. I barely died in ME2 and now husk-huggies are a real bad time. 🤣
