Unpopular opinion: let’s ditch the word “obviously.” It’s unnecessary filler in podcasts and other discursive spaces. If it’s worth explaining, it isn’t obvious. I understand as a sometimes nervous public speaker where “obviously” sits within the “ums” and “ahs” of language, but still. #languagenerd
