Between my slower writing/lack of focus, and the construction happening at my house right now, it took almost 2 months to get just shy of 92k words for this book. Plenty more for me to expand on during editing, but the first draft is FINALLY done. #SummonedInnocence

Me: Replaying Pokemon Shield to finish the game pokedex for it, despite no reward for that yet. Pokemon: If you finished the ZA pokedexes (which required paying for online play for multiple months and trade evolving), you get this shiny legendary for free.

5 years ago today, I ended my latest battle with my weight, losing around 40 pounds, most of which I have kept off since then. It's been an off and on struggle for me most of my life, but I've found a method that has kept my weight and my emotional eating under control, despite... well, everything.

Next time I decide to write a book with no clear main character and swirling storilines, someone kick me. 10k words down. Still a slog. Still pushing forward. #SummonedInnocence.

I'm only 8k words into my new book, and I'm just at a point where I have nothing. The few ideas that I had going into it are all done, and I know where the book would end, but getting from point A to point Z is just a fog I can't find my way through. I don't think it's going to happen.
