Katie unfortunately is too broke for fashion. She mostly lives in hoodies, jeans, and sneakers. Bekah, given a little more freedom, prefers the Avril Lavigne type alt girl look. Both are on the boyish side.

Katie is 100% a grandma's kid, she learned a lot from the wise older women in her life who stepped in when her mom was checking out of the role. Bekah's healthiest relationship had been with her partner Logan.

A week or so ago, I was looking for a couple books by an author from 10 and 15 years ago and my library didn't have them. I requested them via a library form. Today I got a notification in Libby that they purchased both titles. Asking your library for writers' books is an amazing way to support us.

Katie begins her journey for love and friendship, though she struggles to tell them apart some days. Bekah begins her journey to prove herself to her family that's she's worth something, but loses herself to the violence of her pursuit.

It's so funny how 100K words seemed like mountains upon mountains to write, but I'm almost at that mark in only a few months. I'm sure there are faster or even slower paces, I'm just proud of the increase in my speed. Though, truth be told, it's entirely dependent on my inspiration. #writesky

This is kind of a funny one, given my WIP is actually inspired by a very difficult relationship that really happened, just within a paranormal thriller context to expand upon the themes of codependency, isolation, and love.
