I’m hoping I have a team for Pittsburgh. If not I’m not going to force it. I intensely dislike this format and if I can’t make it fun or play something I enjoy I just won’t show up 🤷 game is a hobby. Never force yourself to play or you just hate it even more in the long run.

After playing Reg H again, I’m reminded why it’s one of my least fav metas I’ve ever played it. Constantly makes you feel cheated a lot of rng with scale shot (crits 4v5 hits), inaccurate moves, and worst of all dire claw. Of all metas to go back to why this 😭

Worlds is special. To all that are going for their first time, or 10th time, I hope you appreciate it. Worlds was the highlight of my career and the most fun I’ve ever had competing. There’s nothing like facing off against the best from different regions. GL and may the best win!

Completed my challenge run through HGSS! Set battle style and only bad pokemon. Made the E4 actually quite difficult. Flareon was a goat all run. S/O Sudowoodo who KO’d all 3 lance dnite by quick claw critting them with rock slide 💀

I’ve cut NAIC and got t64 or better twice in a row, but the streak I care far more about is I have 2-0’d the eventual winner 2 years in a row 😶‍🌫️ good news if you lose to me in Swiss, you have strong odds to win the whole event as a result!

Broke my usual rule of no last minute team swaps but I’m doing it. Regardless of the result I think I’m playing my best mons of the season (low bar 💩) so hope it works out.

Hoping post worlds we get a new format, and ideally one that isn’t restricteds. Realized over time I don’t enjoy games as much built around these overtuned monsters and playing around meowscarda and Maushold is a lot more fun. 4/5 last worlds have been non region locked formats🥲

Season has been a good learning experience for me. I need to drastically improve my mindset and response to rng, and learn to be more versatile and not pick such rng reliant teams at times. It’s been tough, but the greatest growth comes from hard times.

Since I’ve been going to events, I’ve gotten a plushie for every event I’ve been to. Usually try and get a pokemon on to the team I’m using, but doesn’t always work out and sometimes just whatever pokemon I like best 😂 fun to see the collection grow!

Finally completed this in time for silksong! Outside of the last pantheon I refuse I do not have another 20 hrs to spend on the game 💀 really fun though. Awesome boss fights and exploring. Fuck the white palace main complaint, excited for silksong!

Few last thoughts - I do apologize for the anger Saturday. It’s been a frustrating season, but I need to be better. Even if rng went my way, I wasn’t playing well enough and my team wasn’t good enough. I underestimated lunala Mira, and would’ve lost to it eventually.

Deleted my earlier post. Was out of a lot of frustration in this season. Disappointed in this season. My play could definitely be better, but rng has largely been really brutal. It’s frustrating when I don’t get to come to a lot of these events and the game says no.

Very excited for Milwaukee, do like the format at the start, but my main complaint is how critical speed ties are. If you run zam/caly s/korai/mira/flutter/chien, you’re going to have games very often be decided by speed ties. Unfortunate world invites will be decided off ties.

My first restricted tier list of reg I! Both zam/caly s clearly the best so far. Both have multiple partners, easily splashable, and dominate the meta. Terapagos wasn’t available on this maker, but I’d put it in situationally good. It’s fine, just have to work hard to beat Zam
