Finally having Galaxy 2 on a modern console is great. To me those are the weakest 3D Mario's but I still like them so I'm still happy for the collection. Though I wonder if they'll still have something bigger planned for the 40th anniversary. Also that Rosalina Amiibo and the storybook 🙏❤️

Also this beautiful book arrived straight from Japan yesterday. Basically a Pokemon encyclopedia illustrating their behavior, how they live in their habitat, how certain species interact with one another and a lot more. Super charming to flip through. It also has furigana so I can actually read it

I will forever hate the person who told Furuya Usamaru that he should do regular stories instead of avant-garde weirdo shit.

I will never understand what's the point in watching people that know nothing about an anime reacting to its openings. Like they basically don't have anything interesting to say except oh this looks cool, oh this sounds great, yet somehow they rake in hundreds of thousands of views.

I hate how prevelant horrible endings are with quite a few mangaka They have this thing where they probably planned out the ending way in advance, but in the meantime put in so much character development or changed up a lot of dynamics & storybeats that it results in feeling completely nonsensical

I have way too many unread manga. And I also have barely any space to fit them once finished. Therefore I'm currently sorting out. My goal is to reduce my collection by at least 500 volumes this time around, preferably more. Everything I deem that I probably won't ever reread gets out.

I now fully understand why Takano Fumiko is such an important and well-regarded mangaka. A 50s spy movie full of wit, dynamic panelling, an endlessly charismatic female protagonist, slapstick and fluidity as if you were to watch a Fleischer cartoon. Maybe my favorite read of the year so far
