Teachers are asking more questions than there are answers. AI is moving education in light speed like nothing I have ever seen before. Schools and districts aren’t ready. #NCTE24

We could be saying, “Let’s customize an AI platform for and with your students together.” That’s what we are doing at writingpartners.net a platform, yes, but even more a place to customize online experiences for and with students.

A thought I had at #NCTE24: Businesses are using customized AI platforms, not the commercial chatbots. Don’t our students deserve the same customized support? Using the tech companies tools doesn’t prepare them for the future, it just introduces them to another attention grabbing trap.

Am I the only Black person interested in AI and the ELA classroom? Oh no, another someone is in this room that looks like me. Who’s teaching across our country and what is the interpretation of the skill? #NCTE24
