It's #TrusteesWeek and we’re celebrating our incredible Trustees and their link to Kids Advisory Panel (KAP). The panel is a space for young people with SEND aged 13-25 to share their thoughts, ideas, and experiences in relation to Kids' strategy and other important topics.

We strongly support the call for more investment in Speech & Language Therapy services. SALT services are key to supporting so many children with speech, language and communication needs.

Today, parents from our Wakefield Awareness Support Project and other Kids' services gave a powerful testimony to @yvettecooper-mp.bsky.social, speaking openly about the trauma and failure to listen and understand them and their children. Some spoke of having “no fight left in me.”
