This weekend, I had the privilege of being invited two incredible celebrations of culture and community — the Baile de la Herencia Hispana / Inclusive Hispanic Heritage Dance sponsored by SoonerSuccess, and the Consulado de México en Oklahoma City Mexican Independence celebration.

As I pause to reflect today, I’m reminded of the importance of belonging and of showing up for one another in ways big and small. We honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who stepped forward.
