The reason I continue to point out how evil Democrats/liberals are is because they occupy the entire space for opposition...which is why there is no opposition to fascism right now. If we don't dismantle that cult there will be no change, it will only get worse.

What we're seeing in the "don't sign up for protests" discourse is what Paulo Freire described as the convert's failure to trust the knowledge of the oppressed. As the convert tries to stand in solidarity with the oppressed, they refuse to let go of a world where they were the authority by default.

My nation defeated the American military in battle, back in 1898. I do not think my ancestors would want me to stay silent in the face of fascism. I don’t need to make a performance out of it, but I will not back down to white supremacy. I will do what I can to push for freedom for all.
