Survived Winter Storm 2026. My company had all of us stay at a hotel near the office so we wouldn’t have to commute. Last night the power went out at the hotel for five hours! A manager went around asking everyone if they needed anything and gave us glow sticks cause our rooms were dark

A huge winter storm is heading to my area this weekend. I work in news so they’re having us all work Saturday and Sunday. They sent out an email saying we can sleep in the conference rooms if it’s not safe to drive home. 🥴
