Watched the Guinevere pilot. Beautiful art direction and animation. I wish writing was better, but might be a case of cramming too much into the pilot. A scene that stood out to me as under-cooked was when the dockworker confronted the duo. Still impressive though and I hope to see more from this.

There are actually a lot of things I’d like to do artistically right now. It’s a good problem to have, but I‘m not in a hurry either and the ideas are starting to pile up.

Reading @bsky.app new guidelines and "religious affiliation" should not be a "protected characteristic" because that implies ignorance is an immutable part of a person which cannot change. It is also far too easy for said religious people to see any criticism of their false gods as personal attack.

Just found out the new Destiny 2 thing "Ass & Iron" doesn't even have SIVA in it. So glad I jumped ship off that bloated carcass.

Dark Ages is tons of fun, but it's missing something and I think I just figured out what: Where the fuck are the gory glory kills?

I kinda want to tell a longer story with Babs and Sparky (maybe an origin story), but I don’t think Bluesky is a great place for a comic. At least not as the main place. Posts would get lost among everything else. Any suggestions?

DOOM: The Dark Ages is barely a sequel to DOOM (2016) or DOOM Eternal, but it is the spiritual sequel to the original Quake and that is far cooler in my opinion.

Old art. Another character in Babs and Sparky's setting, but unlike most of the characters, she's not a monster. She's a human! How strange. Her name is Cherry and she is the protagonist of one of the larger story ideas I have for that setting (Babs and Sparky are secondary antagonists in it too!).

Hot take: I hate mini-games almost without exception.

Act 3. I might just call it quits here. I don't have anymore patience for bad game design. I got my money's worth, but if I'm being honest, this is one of those Plato's cave things where part of me wishes I'd never experienced it. It's soured my opinion of Hollow Knight and Team Cherry.

With 51 hours now, my biggest gripe with Silksong is I am enjoying it enough to keep coming back in spite of the bullshit, but not enough to be excited for damn near anything in the game.

Getting back into writing my melancholic cannibal horror scripts. Written 9 pages of issue 6 (of a planned 14) so far. Hoping to continue that momentum and get thru at least issue 10 by end of year. 11 to 14 needs structural planning still (which I already did up to 10).

High Halls can fuck right off. How about instead of nerfing balanced fights like Moorwing and Sister Splinter, you nerf the mob density or number of waves in this arena @teamcherry.bsky.social I cannot recommend this fantastic game to anyone because of oppressive arenas and platforming (Mount Fay).

Silksong might be the only game is existence that requires you to beat a kaizo level to unlock double jump. Honestly, it feels good to do it, but it's also super fucked up. I'm old, TC. I don't have the reflexes of a 15-year-old anymore. :(
