The new Lee Miller display at the Petrie Museum is all about "Seeing & Unseeing the Pyramids" - the idea that Egypt is in the eye of the beholder. In the spirit of addressing our own perspectives/biases, here's my very first sight of the pyramids - I may have been out to get the "residential view".
