Back in the office for a bit today. In the accumulated mail was my @butleru anniversary card….a reminder of the many wonderful students I’ve had over the years in the classroom and the scholarship they’ve helped inspire me to produce.

Last year, one of our regular tour guides me told me she was going to order my Eisenhower & the Holocaust book. Earlier this week I got to sign her copy in the middle of Berlin. It was a wonderful experience! Thanks to all my readers—including Tina’s mom and dad who also read the book!

When Gen Eisenhower went to Ohrdurf Concentration Camp, the first camp liberated by the US Forces, he ensured that the press were in attendance so that the world would know the atrocities that took place and try to take note to ensure it never happened again

Thought it would be nice to start the new year off with Ike’s latest review from Amazon: „This was a clear, concise examination of how Eisenhower’s decision to witness the horrors of the concentration camps left a lasting impact. I highly recommend reading this very timely book.” Thank you Angela!
