in dds2, argilla was more vocal and direct about her grief for jinana as a form of yearning. it’s definitely not irrational for the player to say she loved jinana, despite the 2005 release yr. in comparison though, what gale experiences in grieving lupa mirrors this, but it’s limited in expression
