so, I just enabled dev mode for my computer (requires a factory reset), forcing me to reinstall krita. this was meant to take 30 minutes, tops. it took 3 hours. apparently, dev mode messes with the native version of FUSE on crostini. it's fixed now, but what a headache

I love Krita, HOWEVER, the text tool is unreasonably buggy, even after the update where they overhauled it. Sometimes, when you select the text editor, the entire program crashes. This is a really unfortunate hurdle, as someone who is making a comic.
